Ken Olsen

In college, I assumed photography would be the easiest way to satisfy the humanities hours needed for my Accounting Degree. Little did I know that an introductory course would spark a lifetime interest in the art of photography.

With the assistance of the Arlington Camera Club and the Chicago Area Camera Clubs, I have been actively honing my skills on various subjects for over twenty years. I usually describe myself as an opportunistic photographer capturing images of any subject that catches my eye at a given time and place.

My images have appeared in Cook County Forest Preserve District calendars, the McHenry County Conservation District Magazine cover, and in its calendar. My images have won awards at the Arlington Camera Club, the Chicago Area Camera Clubs, Old World Wisconsin,Volo Bog and Moraine Hills.

Thank you for viewing my work and allowing me to share a bit of the local natural world with you.
