Thomas McKinley is a seasoned artist, photographer, and graphic marketing specialist living in Lake Barrington, Illinois. He graduated with a marketing and journalism degree from Iowa State University and an advertising degree from the American Academy of Art in Chicago, where he studied advertising and photography. He earned an MBA from Keller Graduate School of Management in Chicago, where he also taught marketing management as an adjunct professor.
Thomas retains over 40 years of marketing experience covering a wide variety of industries, including agriculture, software, technology, publishing, health care, and pharmaceutical businesses. He has worked with various large corporations, including White Farm Equipment, Motorola, Adobe, Abbott Labs, and AbbVie, and lent his leadership skills to non-profit organizations in the Chicagoland area. He’s been the recipient of many awards for advertising campaigns awarded by Print Magazine, How, Communication Arts, and Printing Industry of Illinois, as well as multiple Presidents Awards from Abbott and AbbVie.
